Ephesians 5:14
While natural sleep is good for us, to be spiritually asleep is dangerous for our souls. The 'sleeping' unbeliever is unconscious of the realities of the spiritual world, is himself living in a dream world, is in a perilous position and yet often is content with such a situation. The Lord calls on him to awake, to stir himself and seek the Lord. The promise of light and life is promised to those who do.
