1 Timothy 1:12-16
The apostle Paul credits Christ for all that he is and for all his abilities: for putting him into the ministry, for enabling him to handle its demanding tasks, and for faithfulness in it. These are important lessons for all believers to learn in their service for Christ. The power of God's grace which transformed Paul, the chief of sinners, is set down as an encouragement to the worst of sinners today to come to Christ and obtain mercy.
