Numbers Chapter 14
Men are rational being. However, because of our sinful nature, we from time to time make irrational choice without regards to the blessing and help of the Almighty eternal GOD, Jesus Christ. For instance, eternal life vs eternal death, eternal joy and peace vs eternal pang and trouble, eternal boon vs temporal benefit; a lot of people made the wrong choice just like the Israelites in the decision to refuse getting into Canaan land. The story is a good teaching to us.
