Psalm 115
Man-made idols being lifeless cannot be related to, are impotent to help us and feel nothing for us. Man-made ideologies like atheism and humanism are similarly powerless to help us and have no sympathy for us. In contrast, the living God communicates with us, feels for us as fallen men and women and is willing to forgive and help us. He calls us to a living relationship with Christ, not with a lifeless ideology.
