Nehemiah 12
The battles, struggles and weariness faced in building the wall culminates in this joyous and glad day of dedicating the wall to the Lord. The worship of the day, however, was meticulously planned according to previously defined God-given rules, a reminder to today's churches that we are not free to 'do worship' as we like. Here also is a call to readiness to service and conscientious Christian living.
