God called Philip to leave his successful revival ministry in Samaria and go to a desert road. Not knowing what the Lord would have him to do in the barren desert, Philip promptly obeyed by faith. God blessed him and used him to bring about the conversion of the first African gentile in the New Testament. Faith and obedience are essential in our walk with God.
