Daniel 3 - King Nebuchadnezzar's command that all should worship his golden image led to Daniel's three Hebrew friends, who refused to compromise, being cast into a burning, fiery furnace. Miraculously, the burning heat did not harm them one little bit, the Lord being with them in the fire. Here are exhortations to churches not to yield to pressure to compromise, to hold fast onto our non-negotiable doctrines and the moral law, and the assurance of the Lord's presence with us in times of trial.
