Samaria was besieged by the Syrian army, leading to a great famine. Despite their rejection of Him, God still proclaimed the good news of salvation to them. Here we see the sin of unbelief of the king and his officer. We also learn the way to return to God from the four lepers who first witnessed God's blessing.
