Luke 6:46-49
While thousands amassed to hear Jesus preach, many 'did nothing' with it. They never responded to it. Christ urged them to respond to His message and be saved. The parable He told of the two builders urges us build our lives with Christ central to it, and demonstrates that a life lived in communion with God and under His blessing is the norm. The strange, abnormal and shallow way to live is to live without God.
